Curled Hair Cut

Now’s the perfect time to pursue a career in cosmetology, esthetics or barbering. We’ll even help you find a job after you graduate! We offer financial aid to those who qualify and our schedule allows you to have the perfect school/life balance.

Financial Aid Options and Scholarships

The first step in discerning how much assistance you’ll receive is visiting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) website. Here, you can research the application process, as well as begin your federal application for financial aid. Once completed, you can reach out to the Financial Aid administrators here at Nathan Layne Institute of Cosmetology and work with them to see what kind of package you qualify for, as well as the length of time you’ll be able to apply it to your education here.
On top of financial aid, Nathan Layne Institute of Cosmetology accepts an array of scholarships. Most notably, we currently offer the Careers That Work Scholarship to any up-and-coming high school graduates. But, if you happen to be using any other form of payment, like a scholarship or grant, the Admissions Department can handle that as well. Be sure to ask our Financial Aid representatives about scholarship deadlines.

The Application Process

Regardless of the program you’re interested in, the first step in any application process is taking a tour of campus. Once you’ve decided to attend Nathan Layne Institute of Cosmetology, you’ll begin working with one of the team members in our Financial Aid Department. When applying online through FAFSA, you’ll need the Institute’s FAFSA code (Chubbuck: 016432).

Once you’ve completed your application and all of your requisite forms are submitted, we wait to receive your Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) from the state. As soon as that comes through, we’ll inform you that the enrollment process can proceed.
