Our origin story
At Nathan Layne Institute, the beauty education we provide is different from other schools. Our founder Nathan, a salon owner, was inspired to run his own school after struggling to find enough qualified professionals to staff his own salon.
To fill the gap he saw of beauty school grads who were salon-ready, Nathan personally shaped the school’s curriculum to inject more real-world salon knowhow into the training. Together with educators and students, he honed the beauty programs that are at the heart of Nathan Layne Institute.
