Our Twin Falls campus offers students a creative, professional environment where they can turn an interest in beauty into practical experience. Throughout their education, students are encouraged to experiment, ask questions, and develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed to feel confident in their work.
Hands-on training allows students to apply what they learn in a real salon setting while working with guests under the supervision of licensed professionals. Each experience helps them improve their technique, strengthen their communication skills, and better understand the expectations of the beauty industry.
Along the way, students begin to discover what kind of professional they want to become. They build confidence, develop their individual perspective, and form meaningful connections within the Twin Falls community.

Since opening in 2012, our Twin Falls campus has brought together creativity, professionalism, and sustainability in a modern, eco-conscious learning environment. The campus features 44 stainless steel styling stations, polished concrete floors, and industrial fixtures that give the space a distinctive, contemporary feel.
Students can pursue three programs across a variety of beauty disciplines while learning from instructors and leaders with firsthand industry experience. Their training incorporates plant-based, socially responsible Aveda products and encourages an approach to beauty that considers both personal expression and environmental responsibility.
The Twin Falls experience helps students build more than technical ability. It gives them the space to develop professional habits, explore their creativity, and prepare to contribute their own ideas and talents to the beauty industry.
What Programs Are Offered at Nathan Layne Institute?
Our Twin Falls location offers four beautiful programs. Cosmetology (full time and part time), Esthetician (full time), Barbering (5 weeks) and Manicuring/Nail Technology (three days a week). No matter which program you choose to enroll in, you will be met with a curriculum that can teach you the practical and theoretical skills required for the profession you wish to pursue. In addition to hard skills, we teach business, marketing, networking, and other business-related topics. Our owners have developed this side of our curriculum to help better prepare students for life outside our school’s doors.
